Services of Campbell Lodge Boys Home

Campbell Lodge Boys’ Home is dedicated to the development of a residentially based service system for at-risk youth and their families. Whenever possible the primary focus of treatment is on the care of the youth in the context of family. Campbell Lodge accepts the principle that the family is the most desirable setting in which to rear children, and that services must therefore be provided in support of family maintenance and functioning, or in the most family-like setting. We have found that an inability to fully engage the family in the treatment of the child usually results in stunted gains or no treatment progress at all.

Campbell Lodge Boys’ Home Crisis Stabilization Services allows for placement for up to 10 consecutive days for males between the ages of 9 and 17 who are currently receiving IMPACT Plus Services. 

Campbell Lodge further accepts and practices the principles that services should be youth-centered, goal-oriented, solution-focused and that families should be full participants in the planning and delivery of service. Furthermore, the cooperation from and collaboration with, other child-serving systems, especially schools, is essential. Finally, Campbell Lodge Boys’ Home strives to provide a standard of residential care that is culturally relevant and responsive to the needs of its residents and families.

The primary objective of Campbell Lodge Boys’ Home is to provide daily assessment, monitoring, feedback, treatment, and milieu-based support to children and youth whose difficulties in the domains of school, community, and family life have resulted in out of home placement. The goal is to preserve and enhance the resident’s functioning in those domains to the highest degree possible while aiming to restore emotional and mental health, alleviate disturbances and delays in typical developmental progress, and reestablish more adaptive patterns of physical, familial, emotional, social, and educational functioning.
