1st Annual Winter Blues Festival A Success

More than 200 patrons were in attendance at the 1st Annual Winter Blues Festival on Friday, February 11, at the Madison Theater in Covington.

Blues great Carl Weathersby headlined the show. G. Miles & The Hitmen and the NKU Jazz Ensemble also entertained the crowd.

Over $3,000 was raised for NKU's EMPOWER program at Campbell Lodge, which will provide music instruction to residents.

A big thanks to Citizens Bank of Northern Kentucky, the NKU Music Dept., WNKU, Auntie Mom's Catering, G. Miles & The Hitmen, and the Madison Theater for supporting the event.
